The 1st Series of RMB was issued on December 1, 1948. There were 12 different face value and 62 editions. The Silver Mini-collection of the 1st Series of RMB of the PRC was made by China Banknote Printing & Coinage Co. under the authorization of the People's Bank of China. The collection includes silver mimics of all banknotes of the 12 different face value and 62 editions. The collection includes three volumes. Limited distribution of 8000 sets. Chinese Coins & Banknotes(2nd Series)

The second series of RMB was issued from March 1st,1955 by the People's Bank of China.The second series had eleven different face values on both notes and coins. Authorized by the State Council, the second series was withdrawn on January 1, 1999, except for the notes and coins of fen. The silver mini banknote collection of the second series of Renminbi is delicately released with a high-level art and very limited mintage. It has 9800 copies of pure silver collection. The 3rd series of RMB is the one which lasted the longest time(from 1962 to 1974) in circulation. During the period of 12 years, a series of seven banknotes of different face value were issued, including 10 Yuan, 5 Yuan, 2 Yuan, 1 Yuan, 5 Jiao, 2 Jiao & 1 Jiao.
