姚有志，军事科学院战争理论和战略研究部部长，少将军衔，研究员，战略学博士生导师，中国军事科学学会理事，中国孙子兵法研究会会长，中国军事科学学会战略分会会长。
长期从事军事战略理论研究工作，具有深厚的军事战略理论功底和实践经验，先后在军内外刊物发表学术论文百余篇，出版专著十余部，完成研究报告三十余份上报军委总部。
代表性的理论专著有：《毛泽东大战略》、《邓小平战略思想论》、《战略学》（2001年版）、《20世纪战略理论遗产》、《军事战略学教程》、《世纪论兵》和《第二次世界大战战略指导教程》等。
